Big, flashy, hilarious romantic action-comedies have officially made their return!
Paramount Pictures’ latest title The Lost City is officially in theaters, and besides being the perfect, fun, and ridiculous (in a good way) kind of escape we need in the world right now, the film also stars some of our absolute faves, like Oscar-winning Ocean’s 8 and Miss Congeniality legend Sandra Bullock, Magic Mike‘s Channing Tatum, Harry Potter alum and passionate ally Daniel Radcliffe, and Oscar-winning heartthrob Brad Pitt!
The Lost City is also inclusive as hell, with Out cover star and Saturday Night Live‘s Bowen Yang as well as Together Together and Shrill star Patti Harrison co-starring in supporting roles that bring the film’s comedy to sky-high levels!

Out got the chance to speak with Bullock, Radcliffe, Harrison as well as Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Oscar Nu~nez about what it was like crafting one of the year’s most enjoyable and laughable films so far. (And Bullock even talked about working with Tatum and Pitt, who, as many gay men know, have been total swoon-worthy icons for so many years now!)

“In all seriousness, you have the benefit of working with the Channings, and the Daniels, and the Brads, and every single one of them share the exact same trait in that they work their asses off,” Bullock told Out about working next to so many great actors for a fun, feel-good, big-budget film like The Lost City. “They work so hard. They come prepared, they’re team players, and they make it look effortless, and they know that they have to pull off.”
“I know I was every friend’s best friend at that time, both men and women, because of who I got to work with, but you know what, they just come to the table prepared and a team player and that’s what I think is the great part about working with people who’ve been in this business long enough. You just sit back and let them work their magic, and they make it look so easy, and they just all happen to be really handsome.”
The Lost City is now playing in theaters.
